The silicone component provides optimum cosmetic properties like silky gloss on hair and a pleasant, non-greasy skin feel. ABIL® Wax 2434 is easy to emulsify and soluble in cosmetic oils. Has an emollient character and improves pigment dispersion. The good spreadability and the emollient effect of the ABIL® Waxes enable them to improve the application and skin care properties of formulations. They also can contribute to wash resistance.

Bis-PEG/PPG-20/20 Dimethicone
ABIL® B 8832 is a non-ionic silicone conditioning agent and hydrophilic emollient. Also, acts as a surfactant. It improves synergistically the conditioning properties of cationic polymers like Polyquaternium-10 and cationic guar. It is cold processable. This ingredient provides a pleasant feel and smoother skin when used in skin cleansing products. It contributes to improved rheology and gel strength of water-in-Si emulsions. Also, improves foam quality.

Due to its spreading effects on skin it will increase the effectivity of UV-filters in emulsions. Thus it is possible to reduce the level of UV filters and maintain the SPF. For emulsions only based on either organic filters or on only physical filters ABIL® Wax 9801 is especially suitable.
