An aqueous flavor.
This product imparts a mild roasted flavor and promotes the Maillard reaction, resulting in a brown, roasted color on meat and poultry products.
It can be applied to the surface by spraying, dipping, or brushing a 15–30% solution in water. The recommended usage level for surface application is 0.3–2.0% uptake.
For internal application, it can be used to impart a mild roasted flavor and brown roasted color at a starting usage rate of 0.25%.The product must be heat-processed after application.
