ADDITOL® XL 6507 - anti foam/air release - is a deaerator/defoamer for solvent born paint systems. SPECIAL PROPERTIES AND USE:
Additol XL 6507 is a solution of defoaming polymers without silicone
Suggested applications are
- industrial coatings
- 2 comp. acrylic/isocyanate systems
- corrosion protection paints based on epoxy resins
- wood and furniture coatings based on unsaturated polyesters and UV-curing systems
In non-pigmented systems over dark surfaces, a slight turbidity, depending on the added amount, may occur.
PROCESSING:
Additol XL 6507 should be added prior to the grinding process, to achieve full effectiveness. The addition to existing systems or the addition to non-pigmented systems is possible, but the available shear forces must be high enough to ensure good distribution of the product.
Quantity to be added: 0,1 - 1,5 % on paint.
