Galaster EL 98 is made by esterification of natural lactic acid with ethanol. It is a clear, biodegradable and FDA approved liquid with a characteristic odor. This product is completely soluble in water and most organic solvents.
Galaster EL 98 has an ethyl lactate content of min. 98, an acidity (as lactic acid) of max. 0.1, and a water content of max. 0.2. This product is Kosher and Halal compliant, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and GRAS.
