Potassium thioglycolate solution about 42% is a clear, colorless or slightly pink liquid, characteristic odor, commonly used as a depilatory agent.

Its better is better soluble and effective in comparison to Calcium Thioglycolate(Shorter reaction time required), but on the other hand it is more irritant than Calcium Thioglycolate
