AG RH 23 is a commonly used thickener and stabilizer in suspension concentrate (SC) formulations for agricultural applications. SC formulations are liquid concentrates containing solid particles, such as pesticides or herbicides, which are suspended in a liquid medium. AG RH 23 is based on Xanthan Gum, a natural polysaccharide produced by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris. It is highly effective in increasing the viscosity and improving the suspension stability of SC formulations. By adding xanthan gum to an agricultural SC formulation, it helps prevent settling or sedimentation of the solid particles, ensuring a consistent and uniform distribution of the active ingredients.
