Caprylic Acid C899 is a technical grade C8 fatty acid derived from vegetable feedstock. It's used in various industrial applications including aluminum rolling lubricants, cutting fluids, synthetic lubricants, metalworking fluids, and cosmetics. It's also used as an intermediate in the production of amides, methyl ester sulfonates, rolling oils, low-volume solvents, and plasticizers.
