Application Examples:

Directly Compressible (DC) Tablets

DC tableting is often the top choice in making dosage forms but can be difficult with certain actives, requiring additional binding agents, leading to larger tablets, or requiring using alternate technologies, or use of capsule delivery. Moisture sensitive actives create additional challenges.
