Magris Talc improves the performance of plastic parts by:
✅ Increasing stiffness (parts are stronger and more rigid)
✅ Maintaining impact strength, even at –30°C
✅ Reducing warpage and thermal expansion (parts keep shape better)
✅ Improving scratch resistance
✅ Enhancing colour quality for interior/exterior automotive parts
✅ Speeding up processing by increasing crystallization temperature
✅ Providing a cost‑effective alternative or complement to glass fiber
The JetFil® Ultrafine grades enable lighter, stronger components with improved stiffness, surface quality, and reduced warpage, meeting demanding performance and sustainability requirements.
Applications:
• Automotive
• Biopolymers
• Construction
• Electrical and Electronics
• Film
• Rigid Packaging
• Household Goods
• Wire and Cable
A Functional Mineral for Rubber
Mistron® Vapor is a cost-effective, ultra-fine talc designed for rubber applications. It improves processing and product performance by reinforcing materials, enhancing flow, and reducing permeability. Its low hardness minimizes equipment wear, while very low moisture (<0.2%) eliminates the need for pre-drying and helps prevent porosity.
Mistron® Vapor also offers electrical insulation and chemical resistance for demanding applications like seals, hoses, and wire and cable.
Mistron® Vapor Functions as a Processing Aid Providing:
• Reduced Mixing Times
• Lower Compound Viscosities
• Reduced Heat Generation
• Superior Melt Flow
• Improved Extrusion Rate and Quality
• Better Dispersion of Reinforcing Fillers
• Reduced Elasticity / Nerve
• Higher Strength
Key Applications in Rubber:
Seals, Hoses, Wire and Cable (including EPDM compounds)
Antiblock Solutions
Mistroblock® is a high-brightness talc designed for plastic films, delivering effective antiblocking, clarity, and cost efficiency. It also improves strength, enhances recycled plastics, and boosts performance across a wide range of plastic applications.
Mistroblock® is engineered primarily for anti‑blocking performance in polyolefin films, preventing film layers from sticking together while maintaining very low haze, high clarity, and strong mechanical film properties. It offers:
✅ Excellent dispersion
✅ Softness
✅ Cost‑effectiveness
These benefits makes it ideal for:
✔ masterbatch producers | ✔ resin suppliers | ✔ film converters.

Beyond films, Mistroblock® enhances plastic performance by increasing strength, enabling lightweighting, improving recycled materials, and acting as a nucleating agent. It is widely used in applications such as appliances, electrical components, pipes, WPCs, PVC, foams, and food packaging.
Magris produces talc for industrial applications, with significant production in Canada. 🍁
Magris exists to enhance everyday life in a lower carbon world and they do this by producing critical products such as talc, which is used in a variety of industrial applications to enhance performance and improve sustainability in everyday products. Magris supplies 50% of North America’s talc market from their low environmental footprint and vertically integrated mining and manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada.
Committed to helping you achieve your formulation goals!
Magris Talc supports sustainability by converting mine waste into high-purity talc with 100% pre-consumer recycled content, reducing waste and conserving resources. Produced in ISO-certified facilities, these materials deliver consistent quality while minimizing environmental impact and supporting responsible, long-term resource management.
Sustainable Talc Grades
(JetFil® M-Series and Select Other Grades)
By converting waste into valuable products, Magris
helps preserve natural resources while supporting a
more sustainable supply. Some of these talc grades
are also independently certified as containing 100%
recycled (pre-consumer) content.
