Azelis’ solution
Our team has formulated functional gummies enriched with a bioactive zinc and soluble prebiotic fiber. For the gummy base, we selected a specialized pectin GENU®pectin that allows for the integration of vitamins and minerals. This ingredient is compatible with standard manufacturing conditions to ensure an optimal gummy attributes in terms of texture, appearance, mouthfeel, and flavor release. Zinc was chosen for its immunity-boosting properties, aligning with the high interest among 84% of Indonesian consumers in immune-enhancing products. These functional gummies meet 15% of the Recommended Daily Allowance for zinc, containing 3.2mg zinc and 1.76g fiber per serving of 4 gummies.

- GENU® Pectin VIT: Excellent gelatin alternative developed for gummy applications with a good buffer effect to add in easily vitamins and minerals without impacting the jellying properties. Imparts excellent flavor release and increases heat stability.
- FOS 950-P: A water-soluble dietary fiber that not only imparts natural sweetness to gummies but also adds bulk to the jelly. It helps improve the texture and mouthfeel of the gummy while contributing to its nutritional profile.
- GLUCONAL® ZN-P: A bioactive zinc source. Contributes to the nutritional value of the gummies while maintaining a stable formulation.
- PURAC® CLM: A blend of citric, lactic, and malic acids regulates pH levels and buffers against sugar inversion in gummies. It enhances the overall flavor balance by preventing unwanted changes in taste and texture, contributing to a well-rounded and stable candy product.
- PURASAL® S: A neutral sodium salt of natural L-Lactic acid, PURASAL® S acts as a buffering agent to prevent sugar inversion during storage. It also imparts antimicrobial properties, helping to keep gummies fresh for a longer period and maintaining product quality.
- PURASAL® S and PURAC® CLM: When used together, these ingredients provide enhanced flavor stability and exceptional shelf life. They work synergistically to regulate pH, prevent sugar inversion, and maintain the freshness of gummies.
