Gensil™ 2030 is a nonionic aqueous emulsion containing polydimethylsiloxane compound.
Gensil™ 2030 is used
- To suppress or control the formation of foam in aqueous media. To suppress or control the formation of foam in processes throughout a variety of industries including petrochemical, the textile industry, chemical processing, and in effluent treatment.
- Gensil™ 2030 should generally be pre-diluted to a given concentration, in the diluent chosen, before it is added to the foaming medium, provided the use of solvent is legally permitted in the application. The diluent must be both a solvent of the silicone oil which the compound contains, and also soluble or at least dispersible in the foaming medium.
